What began as a “Plan B” after earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Belhaven University quickly became the career I was always meant to pursue. Today, as the owner and principal designer of Jennifer Mullen Events & Designs, I have the privilege of creating timeless, intentional celebrations that are as meaningful as they are beautiful - and I can honestly say I love what I do every single day.
My background in dance shaped the way I see the world. It taught me creativity, discipline, movement, and the beauty of thoughtful storytelling - all of which now influence the weddings and events I design. I believe every celebration should feel effortless, deeply personal, and uniquely reflective of the people at its center.
Meet Jennifer Mullen
I first entered the wedding industry in 2019, eager to learn every aspect of planning and design. Those early years gave me an invaluable foundation and confirmed what I already suspected: this wasn’t just a career - it was my calling.
Since then, I’ve had the honor of serving couples throughout Mississippi and beyond, creating elevated celebrations while building relationships that often last well after the wedding day.
Beyond weddings, my greatest joy is my family. My husband and our three children, Kai, Ellie, and Juliet remind me daily why marriage, love, and meaningful moments deserve to be celebrated so intentionally. Motherhood has only strengthened my passion for serving my couples with empathy, grace, and genuine care.
My approach goes beyond beautiful design. I believe exceptional weddings begin with thoughtful planning, clear communication, and a trusted partnership. Whether you need someone to dream alongside you, guide you through difficult decisions, or flawlessly execute every detail, my goal is simple: to give you the freedom to be fully present while celebrating one of the most meaningful days of your life.
